Bought this for my partner's birthday and they love it. I'm very please I chose this model, the size is small enough to be portable (much smaller than the Xtreme or the Boombox), but big enough to pack a punch (quite a bit bigger than the Flip). We have been using it for one month and have had no problem with connectivity with both Android and iOS. The sound quality and volume are excellent.
I bought the blue version and I think
I would be happy to recommend this product.

I was happy with my Charge 6 til after I done an update. After the update the volume is not as loud as it was.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We recommend adjusting the EQ settings via the JBL Portable app to see if it will fix the volume issue. You might also try connecting the unit to a different device or performing a reset by pressing and holding the Volume (+) and Play buttons simultaneously until the unit powers off. Overall good but not exceptional

Sound is pretty good but not what expected. Had a charge 3 for many years until the speaker finally gave out so figured we’d try the newer version. Overall I’m pretty happy with it but figured it would sound better, have better base and be a little clearer on vocals.

Could be good but there's is basically no left speaker. If you adjust with your device to include more left speaker, you lose volume and would have to eq again to get decent sound. Not great overall. The "keywords" suggested for this review do not include sound quality. That should tell you what you need to know.
