why is there not a charger included? That is a very cheap move ...not showing much care for your customers

Thank you for your review. Our JBL Grip does not include a charging cable in the box as part of our efforts to help reduce electronic waste. The unit is compatible with any standard USB-C charging cable that you may already have.

Bad battery time

Just bought this one. Good sound relative to its size, but the battery time is a disaster. Must always keep a charger in hand because otherwise it will die super quickly. Would not recommend as a portable speaker at all. Not happy and would not say that the product is as promised.

No Charger?

I Got this product a few weeks ago and I abosolutly love it great sound quality and I love how its waterproof. What I dont like is how much I paid for it and it didnt come with a charger, yes it did come fully chared, but after it died after many uses, I had to go out of my way and spend more money to buy a chager for this. but overall i use it all the time

Battery issues.

When I first got it, it was working great, sounded great, and I had no issues. However, it randomly stopped allowing me to charge it. Everything I found online said I may need to clean the plug in spot, may need to clean my cords, but even after doing all of that it still does the flashing red warning light, and makes the noise to let you know something’s wrong. Everything online said I also may need to try different chargers and outlets, so I have tried switching both and it still won’t charge.It’s been days now, and I honestly don’t know what to do anymore, and it’s driving me insane. This much money for a speaker that won’t charge is just frustrating.

We recommend using compressed air to dry and clean out the charging port. Please also ensure that the charging cable is completely dry before plugging it back in. Wish it could float 😞

We have a handful of different JBL products and have been happy with them and plan on getting more. However, I just lost our Grip in a kayaking incident and hoped it could float.... It does not ☹️ sank right to the bottom like a rock. Being that we were kayaking on a river at a point the current was flowing pretty good we couldn't find it to see if it survived. Maybe something to consider in newer products 😬
