Provides lots of sun protection, and the umbrella strap on my Clicgear goes over the handle comfortably to prevent it blowing off the cart. It's also tall enough that I don't bump my head on it. Being large, , it can catch the wind. Can't use it for sun protection if it's too windy (but that goes for all umbrellas).
