Great value for the price

Great equipment. Easy to set up of my bicycle. Using it with MyWhoosh and indie-velo programs without any difficulty. Bluetooth links without any problem. Got it fairly inexpensive in comparison to competing brands for similar equipment.

I like this trainer. I am coming from a "wheel on" wahoo kicks snap and this trainer is much quieter, and no chance for wheel slippage on hills! I need to do a spin down as I think it is reading my power too high. Easy to set up, and the trainer even connects to sensors (ie heart rate and cadence) so I don't need to pair to the Apple TV or iPad. Quite impressed so far.

Nearly identical to Wahoo kicker

Great budget trainer! I had originally ordered the kicker core but their customer service is horrible and they hadn’t shipped it after a week so I went with this trainer. So far after one month of training I have No complaints — works great with Zwift. my only wish is that it had a handle for portability or something cause it is lopsided and heavy due to the offset of the front to back.

Bought this after reading the very positive reviews on DC Rainmaker and GPLama. 1000 km's in and I can say that this trainer beats the Wahoo Kickr Core at its own game. Super quiet. Punches out the resistance very quickly and accurately in ERG mode. And the resistance is almost lined up with the hills when I'm on Zwift.
This is money well-spent. Couldn't find a better trainer at its price. (And no, you don't need more watts than it punches out unless you're on the Tour.) I would buy it again.
For what it's worth, I had a question about the product and emailed JetBlack. They were quite helpful.
Note: Got Disc brakes? Then confirm your bike's compatibility for this and all other direct drive trainers. The solution is usually an extra spacer - about the cost of a bag of chips.

Well Priced Kickr Core Alternative

I purchased this JetBlack Volt after doing a lot of review reading and comparing various direct drive trainers. The price point is comparable to the Kickr Core but includes the cassette. This trainer is very quiet - you only hear your bike drive train! The app takes some getting used to but does provide various guided training sessions which I find to be great! You can also add your own training session, connect with Strava and upload directly to Training Peaks. I'm really happy with my purchase!!

Best value direct-drive smart trainer

This is my first direct drive smart trainer that is whisper quiet, accurate and when paired with Zwift you get power meter, speed and cadence measurements with comparable performance to top-tier brands. It includes an 11-speed 11-28 cassette: just mount your bike after unboxing, calibrate with the app and you are ready to use it with your favourite indoor cycling platform.
I am a beginner when it comes to indoor riding and I use the Jetblack for Zwift and it does its job for simulated riding as well as for training. I bought it over similar offerings as it qualified for Friends and Family discount so I saved more money than the competition. A great buy that’s also reviewed well by GPLlama and DC Rainmaker.
