Love the built in igniter and the ability to simmer and use other pots and pans with the provided add on. This is a great size for boiling water for multiple freeze dried meals. I can usually boil enough water for a regular sized french press (2-3 cups coffee) and 3 bowls of instant oatmeal and still have a little hot water left over. Awesome car camping and winter addition to my Jetboil family.

I ordered a jet boil stove for camping and backpacking and have been extremely satisfied with their product! They are versatile with the ability to use their brand fuel or you can buy an adaptor and use a standard propane cylinder. Easy to use and carry. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for the best stove you can buy! 10 out of 10!

The Jetboil Sumo has become one of my favorite pieces of gear for both camping and emergency preparedness. I’ve used it for everything from brewing camp coffee to cooking full meals, and it’s never let me down. The boil time is incredibly fast, which makes mornings at camp a lot easier—coffee is ready in minutes.
The larger capacity of the Sumo compared to other Jetboil models is perfect for cooking for two or more people, yet it’s still compact and lightweight enough to pack easily. The fuel efficiency is excellent, and the built-in igniter and stable base make it super convenient to use anywhere—from the backcountry to the beach.
I even keep mine in our emergency prep box, because I know it’ll work when I need it most. Whether you’re backpacking, camping, or just want a reliable stove for emergencies, the Jetboil Sumo is a solid, dependable choice that I can’t recommend enough.

Use it more than I would have thought

I use this thing all the time, it stays in my truck box with a coffee percolator and is utilized multiple times a week at job sites. Perfect for deer/duck blind and for every day field use. It boils water extremely fast and evenly heats a pan when cooking an actual meal. Perfect for any experience with a camp stove.
