I don't understand how people say this fits true to street show size, it 100% doesn't. Like hockey skates, I had to size down for it to fit correctly. The size guide on the Sport Chek website is accurate and a good place to start. Using the Bauer fit system, I'd say somewhere closer to Fit 2. Definitely not a Fit 3, and not as narrow as a Fit 1. There is a good amount of pliable padding so I'd say if you are Fit 1 or 2, you'll be fine in these. The skate itself is super comfortable, no hot spots in the boot at all. The speed lacing system is really easy and effortless while still being secure and giving great ankle support. Skated for a full hour without really any pain. Great recreational skate! The skate is built pretty sturdy but there isn't much protection so I wouldn't recommend it for hockey, don't think pucks and the plastic parts would go well. The K2 instructions themselves recommend you get it professionally sharpened before your first skate. They come pre-sharpened but it's still a bit dull so I would strongly recommend getting them sharpened before using. TLDR; Good for recreational skate use. Comfortable and easy to put on.

Very comfortable, easy to put on and keep your feet warm! I bought these as a gift for my husband as myself and our two children have the same brand and love them for the same reasons listed above. Highly recommend.

Haven't skated in so long I'm basically learning again, used these for over an hour, easy to tighten and very comfortable for an afternoon skate. Definitely not a hockey skate but great for the leisure afternoon on the ice
