My daughter's second pair of rollerblades. We got her the Marlee model when she was just learning, and because of the size adjustability, they lasted her 3 years before being handed down to her little sister.
They offer a size range up on the Marlee that would fit her for another 2-3 years (she's size 2 now) but she wanted something that would offer a bit more speed, so we were delighted to see these have ABEC 5 bearings in them. These are not for beginners, unless your kid already knows how to skate and stop.
They are a little bit more of a beefy construction and the colours are great. She says they're super comfy and goes like the wind.
So if your kid fits into the lower end of one of the size ranges they offer, don't even think about it - just get them. 3+ years of use for their growing feet. You might only have to replace the wheels after a season or two.
