K2 skate and glide

I very much like the soft boot style even though I also own traditional TACKS made of firm leather. The TACKS have pressure points which make them uncomfortable (that's my foot shape and not the fault of the TACKS). I skate 10-15 minutes with the K2's and then do a final tightening. Then I am golden. I am hoping for a long life of the tightening cord and mechanism.

First day on the skates and I’m impressed. Very comfortable, and warm. The skates are extremely easy to put on and take off. These are the first skates I’ve owned that I able to skate for a length of time with no break due to fatigue or pain. I highly recommend these skates. My wife is buying the women’s version of these skates.

Excellent. No regrets with purchase

I am a recreational skater. I had an old pair of hockey skates that were a bit too small and is uncomfortable. Thought I would get something new and started looking. I actually have a pair of K2 inline skates so I came upon these ice skates and gave them a try.
These are SOOO comfortable. I can skate for hours in them and they don't hurt my feet. They are also extremely easy to put on and remove due to their BOA closure system. No laces to tie or untie! The BOA system is extremely secure and makes putting on both skates as quick as 1-2 minutes. Taking them off takes all of 30s.
