SOLE FELL APART

I have purchased Keen shoes and boots for many years, but the quality has deteriorated so much in the last few years that I think I will be trying other brands. I have a pair of Keen slip on boots that have been in my closet for a few years but are in literal like new condition. Just wore them a few days ago on a rainy day, and the sole material disintegrated within about a half mile while walking my dogs on the street. Soles in LIKE NEW condition literally wore down and fell apart with huge openings on the bottom, and my socks and feet got soaked. I have had the same experience with a pair of shoes. Both the boots and shoes I contacted Keen separately about with photos clearly showing the damage and overall condition only to be told they have a one year warranty regardless of use or condition and that I should not expect soles over the (one year) warranty time period to be OK for use because of the materials used. THEN KEEN NEEDS TO TELL COMSUMERS THAT SOLES ONLY LAST A YEAR if they use such poor materials. I have Keen shoes and boots that are 20+ years old that are still wearable but these boots and shoes are not. Such a shame Keens are so frail due to materials now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Boots are very comfortable, true to size fit & warm. However you cannot stand and slip on , they are pull-ons instead. I currently have an older similar that pair looks nearly the same but you can stand and slip your foot in with no hand assistance. Love those. Just the wrong choice for me.

I first found a pair of these at a dress for less store and they are are some of the best shoes i've ever owned. I just decided to order a second pair so that I can wear them everyday, alternating between the two. ( I try not to wear the same shoes every day in order to reduce the risk of foot odor and fungus. )
I love these boots so much, i wanted two pairs for this reason.
If they last a long time, then Keen has gained a lifelong customer. No more shoe hunting for me. These are my shoes for life.
I will come back in a couple years to give a review on longevity. Thank you Keen!

Bigger finger holes?

I bought these after jealously looking at everyone else in my home wearing slip on water proof boots. They fit fine, but the finger loops in the boot straps seem a bit small, and I've gotten my digits stuck in them a few times. I would assume that Keen would increase the size of the boot straps along with the size of the shoe. Maybe my fingers are just chubby?

Definitely a good boot I went with my gym shoe size maybe more snug than I like after more wear they seemed to stretch out now there perfect yes I do recommend I wear these at work in the mud trenches around water I’m a plumber by trade and they are serving me well so far
