Annapurna base camp trek

I took this shoes on the Annapurna base camp trek 3 weeks ago. They super performed. Not a single blister, no hot spots, super comfortable. No sore feet.
We did a super aggressive trek. 3 days up, two days down. It was my 65 bday! Doing Epic stuff!!!

A Story of One Camino and My Keen Jasper Zionics

I don’t usually leave long reviews, but this story literally changed my life.
It all started a few years ago when I dreamed of walking the Portuguese Camino de Santiago. However, there was one thing holding me back: footwear. I didn’t own any professional trekking shoes, and I didn't want to buy boots just for one trip since I don’t wear that style in my everyday life.
In February 2026, I bought in Poland a pair of Keen Jasper Zionic (the yellow ones). During a long walk with my family that same day, I kept repeating: "Oh my god, these are so comfortable! The most comfortable shoes ever. " Right then and there, it clicked — these were the shoes I could finally walk my Camino in.
I booked my one-way ticket that very same evening.
I’m back home now, and after covering 300 km, here’s what I can say:
Design: Simply brilliant. They look fantastic.
Comfort: It was a pure joy to walk in them. Yes, they got a bit heavy in the rain, and yes, I got a few blisters—but when you’re pushing 50+ km a day, that’s to be expected regardless of the shoes.
Durability: They look a bit "seasoned" now, and the fabric near the heel has worn down slightly, but considering the 40+ km daily load, they performed incredibly well.
The best part? Every time I met fellow pilgrims on the trail, I told them the story of how buying these shoes was the final push that sent me on this journey. It made everyone laugh and smile. :)
I decided to write to you because this story is deeply rooted in my journey. I know this review is very personal, but I felt the need to share it with the people who made the shoes that took me there.
I’m attaching a few photos of my Jasper Zionics in their 'natural habitat' on the roads of Portugal and Spain.
I also bought 2 more pairs.

Comfortable but not quite durable.

I have plantar fasciitis so I tend to experience a lot of discomfort in these felt great right out of the box and into multiple 10+ mile days on a job. Not to mention they look awesome. Admittedly, I wear them a lot, but I noticed that the cushiness of the sole broke down fairly quickly and even looks a little bit visibly compressed now. Also, the toe cap started taking on Weir and tear pretty quickly. I’d buy again on comfort and looks alone but wish they’d hold up a little better. FWIW, I’m 6’2” 205.

This is the second pair purchased. First pair wandered off the path. Needed a clean pair for everyday use. Comfortable, great sole and support.

So cool and comfy , true to size even w thick socks, I am roughly a true 12. 5 but the 12 fits perfect and the 13 is far too big! Nonetheless a beautiful shoe to take on the trails or the city!

Just picked up a pair of Keen Jasper Zionic shoes, and I’m seriously impressed. The color combo pops without being over the top, and the fit is dialed in—snug where it counts, roomy where it matters. I have long and narrow feet. These fit very well. Super comfortable to take the dog for a walk with. I really like the colors and option for different laces. I cannot wait to go for a hike in these.
