KEEN Men's Targhee III Mid Hiking Shoes

So far I've owned the Targhee, II, III, and IV. For me the III is the most comfortable and best fitting out of all of them for daily wear. I need a boot that's versatile and can go from walking the dogs on concrete sidewalks, to the office, and moderate hiking. All in various weather like rain and snow. And the III is perfect for that. The II and IV are a great hiking and backpacking boot with the stiffer and harder outsole and stiffer upper. For daily wear they are just not comfortable and give me foot pain and shin splints, even with different insoles. They are all great boots but for my needs the III's are perfect.

Nice fitting boots, good ankle support. They look good and feel good.

Bought these to replace an older pair of Keen hiking boots. The first time out of the box i wore them to Ontario for a week long fishing trip. They were amazingly comfortable from the first time I slipped them on. We got rain a couple of days and my feet stayed quite dry in the boat as well as on shore. Very impressed with these boots!!!

Have these shoes for two years…STILL my favorite pair ever. As with all Keen shoes, break-in is something no one has to ever consider.

I bought these as my feet were somewhat swollen and my current shoes weren't fitting comfortably, plus I'd started hiking and need something with good grip and stability. These fit the bill very well though depending on the swelling they can struggle to fit as well. Hiking wise these are very comfortable for the ~13 km (1.5 hour) medium difficulty hikes I take. The only downside is when the treads get completely full of slippery mud they can remain full until you purposely clear them (just dragging your foot on the ground to remove most of the mud).

3's are the best boot ive worn. They fit better than the 4's and lasted significantly longer.

These exact hiking shoes were purchased last year and they were so comfortable that I rebought another pair for this year at 25% off. Love it
