These shoes are the 4th pair ot keen footwear that I own and I am totally satsfied. The previous pair of Targee I have, the right foot squeeked if I wore them for two or more consecutive days
This pair is very comfortable, well made, and waterproof.

Not just for hiking

I've purchased several pair of the Keen Targhee over the years and still own most of them. They are great for hiking but also work well for outdoor construction work and landscaping. Supportive and comfortable right out of the box without a breakin period.

Targhee III have changed
a year ago
Shoes have a much better fit but the fit around the ankle has changed. They are now fit higher,about one half inch. It hits my ankle has takes some getting used to. Actually made me quite sore on initial use, a six mile country walk. Much better now after working on top edge of the shoe.
