KEEN Women's Ravine H2 Hiking Sandals

Bought 2 pairs; one pair for kayaking and the second pair for biking.

Amazing sandals, they are replacing a pair that lasted many years and fit true to size.

These are great sandals! I usually wear a 10.5 wide, I bought the 11 and they fit comfortably! Hard to find a nice sandal to fit a wider foot. The Velcro back strap makes them easy to put on and off! Most were fixed back slings that were hard to put on. Not these! Looking forward to trying them in the water!

I bought these for a trip to Galapogos and they were fabulouus. easy to get on, comfortable to walk in and, most important protected my feet from sharp rocks

Love your shoes....have worn them for years...unfortunately this style did not fit comfortably in the side of the heel area

Was excited that this style of Keen water sandals was back - similar to the Newport but with the more open toe webbing. But unlike the previous style (I think called Ventura?), the Velcro adjustable strap on this is a fail. The heel strap is very stiff due to the Velcro making these VERY uncomfortable to wear. I would kill for this with the regular heel strap like on the previous version or on the Newport. sigh

When it said “original footbed”, I really expected no break-in period like my other Keen’s in the past. I had another version of the Ravine a number of years ago so that’s my comparison. The footbed is very narrow at the arch and the materials are less forgiving. The rest of the shoe is great EXCEPT the back strap. What were they thinking in the Keen think-tank? 2 stiff Velcro straps that join at the heal??? Still shaking my head trying to figure that one out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried many sandals before settling on the Ravine H2. I'm so happy to have found this sandal! I have a leg-length discrepancy and needed a summer sandal that could accommodate my heel lift. The lift stays comfortably in these shoes during daily wear. I haven't done anything rigorous like hiking in them, and I haven't used them in the water, but for daily use (around the house, running errands, basic walking) they are perfect! I also have arches that need excellent support or I get pain in my knee, hip, and back. With other summer sandals, my knee swells up within half an hour. With the Ravine H2, I have no pain or swelling! It's incredibly liberating to be able to wear sandals in hot weather, instead of having to wear sneakers or shoes in the heat. I also like that the velcro at the back makes these easy to get on and off. I'm so happy with them, I almost bought two pairs so that I could have a back-up in case Keen stops making these sandals that are perfect for my body! My only wish, I think, is that there was more of a color selection. I wound up with a basic gray sandal because it was on sale and I think the only other option was black. Perhaps next season there will be a third color option!
