    This is my second pair

    This is my second pair of Targhee 111 and I really like them. I hike 20 miles a week and they are very comfortable .

    I loved the style and especially the color combo, but sadly I do not really need such a sturdy boot for my daily life. I regrettably returned them. I wear my Keen shoes daily and happily!

    Work shoes

    I bought these for work because I work with dogs and am hiking with them often. They are 100% waterproof, which means my feat stay dry and warm on muddy/rainy trails. They broke in fairly quickly and give comfortable ankle support. Personally I could use a bit more arch support but there is still some support and it’s working fine. They run just a touch large, I have a little extra room so I recommend sizing down if you prefer a tighter fit.

    Don’t fit the same as previous pair

    I had a pair of the Tharghee III since 2017 and I loved them. They fit perfectly right out of the box. After years of hiking and working, they were finally worn out. These new ones look fairly similar, but slight changes mean the no longer fit right.. They come up higher around the ankle and have a higher profile in the middle part of the foot which makes them feel bulky. I have a narrow ankle and small instep, but appreciate the roomy toe box that Keen offers. So I’ll be returning these and hoping that a different style will work for me.
