    I love these shoes

    I walked the last 100 km of the Camino de Santiago in these shoes! They seem a bit heavy to me, but the benefits were worth it. They are very stable and if I tripped or has a misstep they supported my ankles. It truly is waterproof unless you walk into deep water. I am 66 and have issues with bunions, but the wide toe box allowed me to walk without any pain. The sole is also very stable and minimizes any slippage. I will always buy these shoes. . . . keep making them!

    I purchased these shoes for winter hiking. I typically wear a size 8 but that changes depending on the brand. The size 8 I ordered fits perfectly. I wore them for a rainy day walk and as advertised, they are water proof! I am very happy with my purchase and have already recommended these Keens to friends.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wore these shoes during a Disaster Relief time in GA. I received them on Wednesday and was deployed on Thursday until the next Thursday night. I put them on Thursday morning and was able to wear them every day from 4 am to 7:30 pm! They were super comfortable & even though I was on a concrete base, I was able to make it just fine in these shoes. I can’t wait to really go outdoors in them!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, these shoes are not just the lower cut boots. I usually wear a size 7 in the boots but had to order a size 6.5 in these shoes. The shoes don’t have the little hooks which keep the laces taut and they loosen up as you are walking. I have narrow ankles, so unless I put on really thick socks my ankles slide up and down in the shoe. Never had that problem with the boots. The insoles are not very padded and are very thin. I had to replace the insoles. These shoes feel better than the Merrill’s I ordered. I like the big toe box and they are more substantial than the Merrill hikers I bought. I don’t feel like I’m walking on concrete. I hope these don’t delaminate after a year like my last two pairs of boots did. If so, these will be the last I buy. I am a 64 yr old woman, I walk at least 3 miles a day, and hike regularly. Your mileage and feet may vary!
