Klymit Klymaloft Insulated Double Sleeping Pad

The pad is great for camping or having a friend over in your tiny house, our kids love having “sleep overs” on it.

got this to do some car camping in festival land because i hate air mattresses and was sharing my tent. for this purpose, it is a great pad- very comfy, quick & easy to inflate (with a pump), held air well, and spacious enough for two adults. but this thing is in no way shape or form something you would take anywhere involving a long haul of gear, as it is quite bulky.

so freaking nice! I sleep on it 7 days in a row for work and it's amazing. I wouldn't backpack with it because it's fairly bulky but so comfy for car camping or if you can get it packed up on a mule! Definitely need at least a 3 person tent for it to fit. i have the klymit cross canton 3p tent and they work together great! my boyfriend and i have shared it and he loves it too. one of my favorite camping peices.

Nice and comfortable. Just what I was looking for.

Used this pad for 8 days in Wyoming with a couple morning in the upper 20’s and the rest mid and upper 30’s. The pad was warm and comfortable. Some people complained about the valve leaking but once aired up I didn’t have add any additional air in the 8 days. I used the case to air it up. There was a learning curve and took a bit to air it up but it worked. When I got home I did order the pump with the usb charging cable. Haven’t tried it out yet but hopeful it has enough power to inflate this double pad as it takes a good amount of air. I wouldn’t recommend trying to use your lungs. 😂

Okay, so I initially purchased this for winter camping, but it’s actually quite large. It “packs down” to a sack slightly larger than a basketball and essentially resembles a small mattress. Despite its size, it’s incredibly comfortable and provides excellent warmth. If you’re not concerned about its size or weight, it would be an excellent choice for camping.

I was honestly a little skeptical at first because of the high price tag and lack of reviews, but I am really glad I went for this sleeping pad. Before this, I used the therm-a-rest Dreamtime sleeping pad, which was a great pad for warmth, but lacked in areas like loft (I’m a slide sleeper) and packability. This klymaloft sleeping pad is not only much thicker at 5 inches, but it also packs much smaller than you would expect it to. I paired this with the Big Agnes echo park 0 degree bag and they work perfectly together as the echo park fits around the pad like a bedsheet. I went camping in Tahoe a few times with this setup and even though it was freezing, I was still very warm and comfortable. Overall I’m really happy with my purchase and I will definitely be using this for all my car camping, whether it’s spending a hot summer night in Joshua tree, or sleeping below freezing in the winters of Yosemite.

Easy to inflate & deflate. Overall a comfortable sleeping mat.
