Sizing confusing and unclear

I used the sizing chart to order 2 Kombi baseline sets for my daughter, including this set. I checked the sizing chart then ordered a medium as she typically wears sizes 8-10. It arrived and is a size 4-5. The other set, also a medium, is huge on her, closer to a size 12. I have to return both sets.
