Keep your head, face and neck warm wearing the KOMBI Unisex P1 Balaclava. It's made from Merino wool and features ACCU-DRI® moisture management technology. With super-soft polyester on the inside, this KOMBI balaclava provides optimal comfort and protection in cold climates. Note: We did not mention "certified mulesed-free" because many people think it involves an extremely cruel thing to do to sheep. It involves cutting out a part of the animal's rear end skin and letting it heal over so that fleece will not grow there - it is usually done without anaesthetic. Australian farmers do it to supposedly eliminate the risk of flystrike in sheep. The animal rights organization PETA strongly opposes mulesing, says the practice is cruel and painful, and that more humane alternatives exist, and claim that sheep can be spared maggot infestation through more humane methods, including special diets and spray washing.
