    Great hiker too

I am on my third pair. Great feel for the ground for a runner, low to the ground - less risk of rolling my ankle, great grip, great support for a runner, holds my narrow heel well and has room for my B (average) front width. I am glad there is a more muted color again in the women's line. I use them as a hiking shoe, and since at my place the terrain is steep and rugged, I use them all the time. Size: shoe sizes are so non-standard that I range from 8-9.5, 9 being the more typical for a closed shoe. Here I wear a 9.5.

Loooooove this shoe. I have had a toe injury for years, plus ankle instability, but I love lightweight shoes in general. This shoe sticks to everything like an approach shoe and is super light to wear on your harness. Yet this shoe has a lot of stability and does not roll like these squishy running shoes people keep selling. And also, they protect the toe from stubbing on rocks. And the back of the shoe does not catch on the lip of the rock you just stepped over! Such a pet peeve of mine. I have put 40 miles on them in the sierra so far, carrying about 25 lb up and down many thousands of feet of mostly trail, but also bushwhack and boulder field. They have been excellent. I will be ordering more, before La Sportiva changes the design. I didn't use them to trail run, so I can't speak to running 100s of miles in them on more well-maintained trails.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought these from a local store. They felt really good in store and I was so exciting for them. I am disappointed that the sizing isn’t correct. I got a 37 (US 6) and they are too big. I don’t feel comfortable on the trails with my baby in the backpack carrier while wearing these shoes. And that was the reason I bought them.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

I really like my Bushidos. Firm, but not too firm, durable, and the fit is so perfect it's like wearing gloves on my feet. The only thing I don't like is the tongue - it is ridiculously short. My last pair of Bushidos, which I bought about three years ago, had a short tongue too, but not like these. When I tie the laces, there is barely enough room for the knot to sit on the tongue. I was going to buy a second pair now that a better color is available, but if the blue version has the crazy short tongue too, I might pass.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

These fit at least a half size smaller than my La Sportiva hiking shoes. With these Bushidos, after every hike I come home with jammed toes whereas my Spires don't cause the same issue.

I've had this shoe for about two years and have taken it through many 10mile+ days while traveling. This shoe is very comfortable, actually kind-of stylish, and a great trail shoe! It's quite versatile. This shoe has held up very well and fits so comfortable. Very, very, happy!!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

For me, these are the perfect trail running shoes. They have a bit of cushion but I can feel the terrain and navigate accordingly. I have narrow feet and it’s hard to find running shoes that don’t slip around my feet. I always feel secure on technical downhills and slippery mud. And I don’t get the body aches that come from weird gait that happens with higher stack heights and excessive cushioning. Love these shoes

I love these shoes I have purchased them for so many years I can't even remember. There are lovely, muted colors in GTX but I can't get them where I live because of the chemicals. The current pair I have are black. Why did you get rid of this option? I just cannot bring myself to purchase that bright pick or neon blue and orange. Not all women like bubbegum pink! I very much wish I could get that nice gray and blue GTX color.

No, I do not recommend this product.
