    Tough enough

The peak gravity filter system is well made and looks tough enough to withstand plenty of use. Haven't had it out on the trail yet but it' will be the perfect size for our family.

I used this in a two day horsepack and it worked great. The flow never dwindled and I loved the sturdiness of it

I field tested a free 8L+8L setup given to me by the company to use while dry camping on Canyon Ferry Lake in Montana. Setup was a breeze, very intuitive and I didn't even need the setup instructions. I gathered water from a nearby creek feeding the lake, which was pretty clear to start with. Filling the dirty water bag was a bit awkward kneeling creekside due to the steep bank and I could only manage to get about 6L of water into the bag even with it completely submerged. I decided to wade into the creek to get a better angle and this worked so much better to get it completely full. I suspended the bag from a nearby tree with the clean catchment bag tethered directly below. The full 8L of water completely filtered in under 19 minutes, which meant the end product was still nice and cold when I got to taste test. The shoulder strap made for easy transport back to camp and cleaning/storing the bags once empty was very easy due to the large fill ports. LifeStraw hit another home-run with this product, I look forward to using it for years to come!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Strange time we be living in so don't out rule using this bladder with your preps for hard times when water may be iffy. This bladder is a really nice size as large as my torso. I was surprised with how large it is. It should be hung upright by the included hanging strap with carabiner hook. Use for camping as well. The life straw is easy to assemble and use and will give the user peace of mind.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this packed in my emergency kit! Though I have used it recently for camping. We DID indeed have bottle water, but I just had to try this! It works great! I used it to filter nearby lake water to drink and cook with while camping. It worked like a charm! My kids loved that it made camping so much more real. Lol I like that I can have it for emergencies, like I said!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Lifestraw Gravity Water Filter for camping. This product is amazing because it protects against bacteria plus parasites and micro plastics! I love the versatility of this bag too…Gravity water filter system or use as a straw. It has a strap for carrying, and a backwash accessory. I also love that Lifestraw supports safe drinking water for everyone on the planet and is making a difference with their amazing products and give back programs! The quality and value of these products is spot on. I def recommend this to everyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Life Straw Peak Series Gravity water filter system is a true life saver. This is an 8L pack that is really easy to use but there are several uses out of this system. I have used it as a gravity fed system where I filled the water pouch up with water from a creek that was by our camping site. I hung this from a low branch and had clean drinking water and water I used for cooking. I filled the system up several times over the weekend. However I also used it a couple other ways. We went on a hike and I had the life straw in my pocket and was able to use it as a straw as I drank straight from a small stream and it tasted like I was drinking from my water tap at home. Then I filled my water bottle up and was able to put the straw on it to drink from the bottle. I am not a scientist but I am a believer in the micro filter technology built into the system and also very impressed with the quality and durability actually using this in the real world. This would be a game changer to take on a trip to a third world country or on your next camping adventure. It is worth its weight in gold.. worth the investment as this could save your life. I am a believer in Life Straw. Go get one for yourself and see how impressed you will be.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little things is perfect for hikers! We take our kids hiking quite a bit. Carrying water bottles weighs us down. We got this to filter out the spring water. It is terrific! Super light weight, stores plenty of water, and makes the water taste great and clean.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
