Shoe laces suck these days and don’t stay tied. I have always joked that kids are so coddled these days that they can’t even tie their own shoes. When I teased my eleven-year-old son, he challenged me to tie his joggers. I laughed and proceeded to double-knot his name brand sneakers and came back in 2 minutes of running with both undone—there is something going on with the lace materials these days, that don’t stay tied: these work.
