I wanted a boot for classic skiing so I chose a combi boot. I found it good for skate and classic. Has good support for steeper downhill trails like my skate boots. Is lighter than my skate boots for those that care about weight.

Wide feet and wears size 10 wide in Bogs, Danner, Irish Setter, Keen, Merrell, Sketchers, Others. Madshus width is very comfortable. Size 43 was tight in length. Size 44 is loose but inserted felt pad to compensate and still wear thin synthetic socks. Best dollar for value and performance for one pair of boots for two disciplines for non-racing. Tried other brands, not named, with a professional XC fitter but all were too narrow with too much side pressure. No issues with any boot aspects (quality, materials, softshell, zipper, waterproof, inner boot, laces, ankle velcro strap). Have recommended this universal boot and they’ve purchased the same.

Very narrow width

Boots are narrow, very tight on my feet as to cut off circulation. The laces are budget and should replace them right away.
