Product Details

Lighten your load with an ultralight tent that gives you loads of storage and livable space, inside and out. The Limelight UL hits the triple crown of backpacking must-haves: packable, roomy, and tough enough for the trail. We cut weight from the OG Limelight to push it into ultralight territory without sacrificing comfort-maximizing features. Its freestanding design with two vestibules means you and your tent buddy get your own door—plus space for sweaty packs and muddy boots. Two internal gear cubbies add extra, out-of-the-way and out-of-the-elements storage so you and your essentials can both stretch out inside. The lampshade pocket offers headlamp storage that doubles as a night light for card games or laying out your sleep system. Catching Z's in the rain is a breeze thanks to a fully seam-taped floor and rainfly that keep water out while vents allow internal moisture to escape. A color-coded pole system makes setup quick and easy, so you can spend more time cooking dinner or watching the sunset.

  • Freestanding design includes two big doors and two vestibules for max gear storage and easy access

  • Two internal gear cubbies at opposite corners of the tent offer additional easy-access storage and living space

  • Interior pockets give you extra space to stash and organize small gear

  • Lampshade pocket secures your headlamp while providing ambient light

  • Seam-taped bathtub floor keeps water out

  • Seam-taped, full-coverage fly keeps water out, while vents prevent condensation buildup

  • Color-coded clip and pole system make setup quick and easy

  • 100% polyester ripstop canopy and fly for lightweight durability

  • DAC Featherlite NFL aluminum poles offer ultralight durability and exceptional strength-to-weight ratio

    Great Tent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super lightweight and very easy to setup/breakdown. I wish the tent poles collapsed down to be a bit shorter but maybe that's how a lot of them are these days and I just haven't had a new tent in a while? Love the color too! Excited to test this out some more on some backpacking trips!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not a gimmick, the odd wings add space and comfort in 2-person. And encourages the sensible head-to-foot sleeping position. 2P tents usually feel tight to me. Not this one. Good quality as usual.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great tent, it was sweating or keeping humidity but it was because I didn't open the vents overnight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I were looking for a lightweight tent for backpacking that was roomy and had two entries. Not only did the Limelight UL have that, it also had two interior side compartments for gear. Great tent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my go to backpacking tent for its weight and durability. Nothing like sleeping under the starts while keeping the bugs away!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an avid backpacker, I've owned and used various tents. In fact, I still have a Marmont Tungsten UL 2P tent that has seen years of use. I have also used other tents, including trekking pole tents. Anyway, let me give some pros/cons about this Limelight UL 2P tent. PROS: 1) It does have enough room for my two sleeping pads that are 24 inches wide. There is ample headroom, and the little gear storage side extensions mean you can fit most of your gear inside the tent. The tent fits my wife and me, who are around 5'10 to 6'0 tall. 2) It is easy to set up. I can set it up on my own in about 2 or 3 minutes under normal conditions. 3) The materials are sturdy. It is lightweight so it's not like a heavy and tough car camping tent, but the tent does not feel flimsy or overly delicate. 4) It is nice to set up without the rainfly on a nice star-filled night. The blue mesh is really easy to see through, and no bugs can get in. CONS: 1) The vestibules aren't huge. Because of the side gear cubbies in the tent, the vestibules can just barely fit my backpack and shoes. 2) The rainfly is slightly loose and floppy. At the head and foot ends of the tent, the rain fly should be tighter. It flaps in the wind. Yes, there are plenty of guyline points, but the rainfly should be tighter than it is. Overall, this is a very nice tent that weighs just over 3lbs with everything (stakes, poles, rainfly, tent body).

    Yes, I recommend this product.
