The Arch Rock Pants are built to roll with a full day on the trail. A UPF rating protects you from the sun, and a light but durable fabric means you’re cool in the shade. Features like articulated knees and a crotch gusset mean they’re good for climbing, too.

Terrible update of formerly great pants
a year ago
Slim cut is worse for all normal movements (the price of following now-outmoded fashion rather than utility). No belt loops, garbage plastic clip sewn-in clip belt: disastrous. Pocket size / depth reduced down to unusable mockery still common in women's clothing. Overall an excellent pant ruined.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Good lightweight pants

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice pants for moderate temperatures. The only thing I’m not crazy about is the integrated belt. If the pants are a bit loose they can bunch up when the belt is tightened enough to prevent sagging while wearing a backpack.

Same quality fabric as always. The cut is not quite as generous as previous versions and the built in belt kind of sucks but I love the pants and how tough they are.

Arch Rock Pant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wearing Marmot Arch Rock Pants for years. I basically live in them. They are highly durable and comfortable. The only complaint I have is they went away with the belt loops and went to an integrated belt- It works fine, but I enjoyed the flexibility of using different belts. Otherwise, a great pant for hiking, camping, daily wear, etc.
