Great Value for the money !!

I set up this tent but have not used it outdoors yet. It is a good size and the extra poles create walls that are almost vertical, so there is a lot of useable space inside. Headroom is good too. The vestibules are massive for storing a wet pack and shoes. 2 separate doors and equal sized vestibules on boh sides. So getting in and out is easy without having to crawl over late sleepers. There is ample space for 2 adults, perfect for 3 adults (or 2 adults + one dog), or 2 adults with 2 young kids. The materials appear to be durable. The floor/tub is rated at 2,000mm rain water-pessure and the fly cover is rated at 1,500mm, which is decent. The poles are lightweight but overall the tent is a bit heavy at 8 lbs plus amost 1 lb more for the ground sheet (which protects the floor from stones and branches that could puncture the floor). The only other tent that is comparle is Big Agnes Blacktail 4 (more expensive with smaller vestibules). All other tents at this price are smaller (and lighter). Set-up is easy once you figure it out. The instructions are next to useless. Overall this tent is a great value. I owned Eureka tents in the past and this Marmot is just as good or better. I owned my Eureka for 20 years and logged in over 50 trips, so I'm looking forward to 50 more trips with this tent.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Car camping tent

We were looking for a car camping tent that had more headroom and easier exit than our backcountry tent. This fits our MEC reactor air mattress with 2 ft. on either side for bags. Roomy vestibules. Fly is abit loose, so needs to be staked down with tie downs . Has a seam on the floor that might be a problem if it leaks . Easy to set up by two and even one person

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tent is compact and light. Nylon tabs which retain the poles could be stronger. Can't wait to test it out to see how dry it stays in the rains.

Yes, I recommend this product.

TUNGSTEN 4P TENT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this tent a lot. I appreciate that I do not have to fish the poles through fabric. I can just hook the clips to the poles and snap the rain fly. It is fairly roomy and is truly freestanding. The floor material is a little thin but being careful where you set your tent up and using a ground sheet or tarp helps. I've used this tent in 100+ degree weather and freezing cold weather. It ventilates well and keeps the rain out.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good Solid Tent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a Marmot Tungsten 4 person tent for a few years now. It's been through very heavy downpours, mud, and many less than ideal conditions.... the tent has taken everything thrown at it and come out Great. After a few years it is sagging just a bit but still sets up reasonably tight. The "bathtub" constructed bottom is excellent to keep out water infiltration. This tent may not be ideal for backpacking due to weight.

Good tent so far; better instructions, please

I really like the tent; I've only used it once so far - a week of camping in Voyageurs National Park. Having switched from a classic high ceiling dome tent, the reduced height has been a bit of a adjustment challenge. I love the small vestibule entry areas. It's easy to set up for the most part, but it gets a bit tedious when you have to attach the Velcro strips on the inside of the rain fly around the poles. Also, the instructions for setting up the tent are 8-10 wordless drawings which left me figuring some of the set-up on my own. Wish the instructions would have been clearer about how the larger hooks/clips attach near/at the top of the tent and how they interact with the red poles. Searched for a good set-up video on YouTube and found none.

Yes, I recommend this product.
