The McKinley Aquamax waterproof gaiter is perfect for any backcountry hike or snowshoeing adventure during the cold winter months or early spring while the snow has yet to melt. These high-cut gaiters cover the top of your footwear and your shin to protect your lower legs and footwear against moisture, rocks, and dirt. A hook is attached to the footwear near the bottom of the tongue and an adjustable elastic strap extends under the arch of the sole for a tight and secure fit.

I have gone out in these about 4 times so far. Pleased with quality. Waterproof and appear to breathe nicely. Rubber reinforced strap will stand up well over time. Wait them out as they will go on for 1/2 price. Well worth the wait. These go right under my knee and I'm 5' 5" so anyone much shorter take note.

They stay up well with adjustable straps. Great reflective strips on each side. Water
proof. Come up just below my knees.

Great value with these gaiters. I've had them for 1.5 yrs and they continue to perform well. They always keep me dry and stay in place. They worked extremely well through several hours of post-holing on the ascent and descent of Mount Cline in the Rockies this past spring. I wear them snowshoeing as well. I would definitely buy another pair when I next upgrade.

Decent gaiter but would be bit loose if you are not wearing boots. Even when I tighten the straps, the gaiter is bit loose around my calves.
