Mckinley Men's Asgard Hiking Boots, Waterproof

Great show no issues as of yet. Feet feel fine and no blisters

My husband loves them, comfortable but also warm! So they can be a bit too warm if you are wearing them to the store shopping. They a great outside though.

These Mckinley hiking shoes are amazingly excellent, especially when you can get them on sale. I normally wear size 9.5 Width D in Nike running shoes, and I was concerned that these Mckinley's do not come in half sizes. Tried sizes 9 and 10. The 9's were the best fit for me. There was enough room in the toe box area for my toes to feel comfortable. If you have very wide feet, these shoes might not be for you. One minor negative regarding the shoe is... For some reason after a few km's my shoe laces come undone. I usually just tighten the upper portion of the shoes where the lace hooks are located and then use a conventional lace tie... but then noticed that when I tightened the lower portions of the shoe laces, the shoe lock-down became more secure with less chances for the laces to be undone during my hikes. The positives.... They are waterproof; feet are comfortable wearing them in 0 C to -20 C temps. conditions, but wonder if they run hot in really hot 30 C temps?... Will have to see this summer. The tread pattern is deep and sharply aggressive compared to other competitors' hiking shoes. With all that snow we've been getting on those rolling hiking trails north of the city in Jan. and Feb., these shoes have been able to grip very well up and down the hills like nobody's business. But lets face it, when there is ice, there will be some loss of traction. In fact, I really don't know any shoe that grips 100% well on slippery icy surface conditions.. unless you have spikes. If you know a shoe with rubber treads that does... let us know. After 2 months of wearing (100 km later).. the treads on the soles have barely any wear... This is from a person who walks on snowy, icy, gravel frozen trails along with some asphalt/concrete surfaces in the mix as well. So far so good... Really happy with how the tread and shoe is holding up. I will likely buy another pair when they go on sale again. These are really excellent comfortable shoes with great traction. I would definitely recommend.

They fit perfect, comfortable and it has been put through the test and it is water proof , and it did t take long for the order in the mail , my boys love it

Fantastic value for money. Husband loves these shoes! He uses them as a lightweight winter boot for the majority of the season. Waterproof and great traction for winter walking. He finds them very comfortable. Could be a touch warm for actual summer hiking, but perfect for cooler weather.
