Handy, multi purpose, well made pants.

I bought a pair of an earlier model of these pants, which are still new looking. They age well if you don’t put them in the dryer. I tried to get an identical pair, but these are the closest McKinley offers. They fit me well ( size 14). Generous fit. Slimming, as pockets have European zippers. Disappointed waistband has partial elastic, but again, the waistband is well designed, so the pants retain their sleekness. Fabric is comfortable. Leg bottoms can be adjusted easily to be as wide as the rest of the leg, giving them a boot cut. The snap on the waistband isn’t functional; hides a metal sliding closure. The pants keep their colour and shape. I’ve worn them for hiking, in casual situations, and even to funerals.All in all, a nice, comfortable, well fitting and well made pair of pants That pair of black pants you need for different occasions? These will d o nicely These were not available in any store in the Atlantic provinces. I had to order them online. All told, they were $148 by the time they reached me Highly recommend..

Right size

It is good for walking during cool seasons and even at times during summer - early morning. The size is right for my build and height. I want to buy a pair of winter pants in this brand if available.

Strange fit

Nice pants and well constructed, but the crotch area is very strange and doesn’t feel or sit right. From earlier reviews, another buyer returned them for the same reason.
