10 years running (pardon the pun) with these same hikers and still recommend them for comfort, waterproof for 2 years, quite durable, but mainly for their support and comfort.

Purchased these prior to a 2week trip to Oregon and Red wood forest in Cali. These were a replacement for my 4 year old Merrells. Right out of the box no pain of breaking them in. They protected my feet from both water and mud. More importantly they had amazing grip on the sole. No problem traversing steeper terrain. The best part was how comfortable they are on my feet. These are a wide width which in my size is difficult to find but not at their web site. At 62 YO I need all the support I can Get! Overall these are 5 star.
