Hands down the best hikers we have ever purchased. Great traction and amazing support in a variety of trail conditions. My wife and I have been wearing these hikers for several years now and feel that they are far superior to their competion.

These are the ONLY winter walking shoes

According to my husband. Although year over year, he fluctuates between two sizes. One year, it's a 13 and another it is 14. Not sure why this is the case especially with the same style shoe. Nonetheless, he is happy every winter in these waterproof shoes. One note: when will Merrell include a second pair of shoelaces with their hiking shoes and boots. This is the first thing that 'goes' and finding replacement laces are never the same. Tried calling Merrell and they don't provide (or sell) extra laces.

Moab 3 wide-width = awesome shoes!

My Moab 3 shoes are fantastic. I have the wide-width waterproof version. They fit nicely. The toe-box is perfect, not too small, not too large. Very comfortable. I've been working 8-10 hour on my feet in these shoes, and I survive! Also, I have been tromping thru snow with these shoes, feet are nice and dry and they're great on ice. Highly recommend these shoes!

I’ve been wearing Merrill’s Moab line of shoes for the past five years and love them -best hiking shoes I’ve ever worn in over 50 years on the trail. Sturdy yet comfortable, I hope Merrell doesn’t change the design any time soon as they are perfect just the way they are. My only gripe is that they don’t always have my size in the colors I like, but there are always salles on weird colors that don’t seem to sell; so stop making the non-selling weird colors and produce more of those colors that are popular and sell.
