Bought these for my husband for the sole purpose for our daily hour long walks on country gravel road in the winter. Our Merrell cross trainers and hikers that we used in the summer did not have the grip for icy surfaces that these Moab boots have. Very comfortable, kept his feet warm and their grip on icy patches were very reassuring for our walks in winter. Highly recommend.

I've had my Moab Speed Thermo Mid Waterproof's for several months now and have been extremely happy. They've gotten me though day to day use and hiking throughout a Michigan Winter, and have been fantastic caving, climbing, and exploring Gorges where I've comfortably walked through shallow water with no issue. I plan on buying another pair as soon as they're on sale again!

They got me to Everest and back!

I'd give this a 10 out of 5 if I could. I have terrible ankles...my tendons are blown from high school sports. I need support. I'm also looking for warm...I get cold. Finally, I had a lot of walking to do, and I need something that won't give me blisters going up and down very rugged terrain for miles on end (miles up and miles down at a time). THESE BOOTS ARE PHENOMENAL!! They didn't need to break in. They give me support. They're warm, waterproof, and the best things I could have asked for! I won't hike in anything else. With bad feet and cold issues, I had to try a LOT of equipment. I tried 4 types of hiking boots extensively to make sure I got the right boots for Everest. I kept coming back to these boots. I'm glad I did!! These got me there and back. I didn't slip on snow, water, ice, rocks, or anything. The soles were amazing. Fit was great. And very comfortable. Loved it!!
