Misleading Product Description

On the product page it says in 3 different places these shoes are Gore-Tex/Waterproof. I received them today and these shoes are DEFINITELY not waterproof. Why would you advertise them as waterproof if they are not? Shame on you Sport Chek!

comfortable out of the box but terrible build

i bought these in july and have been on about 6 hikes in them and they’re separating from the sole already and have rips in the uppers and the soles have smoothed out quite a bit already. i’ve used these on class 3-4 scrambles and they have not been trust worthy what’s so ever they’re more of a light hiker made for flat short trails i would absolutely not purchase these again

Comfortable but...

Great shoe. Fits perfect and comfortable right out of the box, but
About a month later shoe started pulling apart at front seem, not enough to see it, but enough to know you can't walk on wet pavement without getting toes wet
A little disappointed but still wearable for now
Other than that, I'm happy with these shows

Not a great material for teenagers

I bought these in the summer for my teenaged son and within a week, they started getting holes in them and 5 months later, there are many huge holes in the upper fabric. Thankfully, Merrell is an amazing company and have offered to replace them. But I think there's a design flaw with the materials they've used.

Very comfortable, but top will tear
a year ago
Very happy, initially, as the Merrell fit is perfect to size. However after just a few months of wear [alternating with other shoes] the top split a small amount on top of my little toe first on one shoe, which was no big deal as it was hardly noticeable - but then the other side as well in the same spot, which quickly got larger and then it was a big deal, as I could no longer wear them. I am not abusive on shoes, as I'm 75 years old and 155 pounds! Poor testing and quality for new designs.

Check, please correct your listings. Nothing wrong with the shoe, it’s the sport Chek website that listed It as waterproof. It does not have the gusting to make it waterproof so I investigated more and the actual manufacturer website does not mention it as waterproof.
