I wore Keen brand for many years and decided to try Merrell out! I went with the Nova 2 Hiking Shoes because they were on sale and thought why not try them out! I am very surprised at how comfortable they are and feel a bit lighter than the old Keen's I was used to wearing. I had no idea what the color was until they arrived in the mail. The website didn't show the black ones which I bought. They are nice and very airy feeling! I don't think you would want to wear them in a rain storm but for nicer days they feel great on foot. I walk a lot on mostly flat and gravely terrain and the shoes feel good. Seem to absorb shock better than the more solid Keen shoes. I can't say about durability as I have only worn them for just over a month now.
Only thing I don't like is that I have to untie them to get in and out of the shoes. They are not quick ones to jump into and go like my previous pair of Keen Voyageurs. Oh well not a big deal.
I can't give 5 stars yet as they are so new to me still. Merrell you might have a new fan! Sorry Keen but since your sizing has changed I have to find alternatives! These Merrell Nova 2's fit my wide size 13 just right! Happy feet here!

Nice shoe but very narrow. Don’t like that about it. I have worn many pairs of merrell Moab shoe and love that. This feel like half the width.

They are very comfortable and did have to break them in. The only thing that irritates me is that rocks get caught in the bottom of the shoes and can make it uncomfortable

Nice shoe but still too pricey since made offshore unfortunately. Quality is not as good as it once was.
