Found these at a significant discount at an outlet store. After 24 hours of wearing these will be my daily wear shoe. Could tell my knees & back felt better. Would definitely purchase these again.

Speed Eco’s Good Lightweight Hiker

Very nice lightweight (Merrell calls light-hiking) shoe with a lug sole that compares with a moderate or full hiking shoe. Sole not as stiff as heavier duty hikers but does the job well for me in moderate to difficult trails.

Excellent hikers

I hike in a local park with my lab about 6 miles 4-5 days a week. Merrels are my go to. These are very comfortable and sturdy shoes. We recently had 8" of snow and took them out for a hike. My feet stayed warm and dry through the whole 6 miles. Great hikers!

Extremely light and very durable shoes.

I've tried many brands of hiking shoes and this one is the best and the most durable one that I've ever worn. Nice and roomy in the toe box. They are extremely light which is important to me doing long day hikes. The toe area is reinforced with a rubberized area. With some other brands my toe has actually worn thru the top fabric creating a hole. With the reinforced toe area that would be impossible with these shoes. I like these shoes so much that I have three pairs of these shoes now.
