Merrell Men's Thermo 6 Shell Insulated Winter Boots

Had a pair of Thermo 8’s for 12+ years. Loved them. Most comfortable snow boots I ever owned. Leather final separated from the rubber lower boot. No longer make the Thermo 8’s so I ordered a pair of Thermo 6’s for moderate snow and a pair of Sorel 8” Buxton Lace waterproof for any snowfall over 6”. Bring back the Thermo 8’s and I would not have a need for 2 pair. Purchased Thermo 6’s for lower <6” snowfalls (most common) because I liked them so much. Extremely comfortable.

These are super comfortable and an all great rounder for winter times. Except for high powder. Other than that, can’t complain. They go on sale regularly so wait for that.

Love these boots, actually these are my third pair. Really good grip, super comfortable and very warm. Feet are always dry since these boots are pretty much waterproof. I really hope they continue to make these.

Perfect winter boot. Warm, well built and extremely comfortable to wear during those cold days. Tread grips well, and is overall a great quality boot. Colors are nice, and these Merrill’s are just outstanding boots to walk around in..,

Wonderful, comfortable, well constructed, perfect for wearing about town in bad weather. They wear like tennis shoes, no break in period. Warm, and waterproof. Constructed to use in the mountains, but light enough and stylish for use in town when bad weather hits.

My husband is a UPS driver. Merrells are his favorite. Comfortable and keeps feet dry all day

Thinsulate 6 -Waterproof Boot This is the best work boot out there . Love it - The only shoe i wear - Searched and have worn many boots - These by far are the best yet - I work outside-On roofs/climb ladders/muddyconditions where you rely on great traction - great traction Vibram sole - and comfortable fit - great in the rain and mud-protective boot too - Keeps me on my feet in slippery- muddy conditions I just bought 4 pair recently - Will be buying more - The only thing is boot lace clasp can break off - Merrell was great in replacing last pair - Hopefully Merrell addresses boot lace clasp issue - Otherwise - totally recommend 100% !

I bought my first pair of these roughly 20 years ago. I put them through the toughest, wettest, rockiest tests you can imagine. These were all in the mountains of Colorado during winter and spring (the "muddy season"), or any time I felt the ground might be the wettest. I used them building a new dirt road in the muck and mire of a wet spring-fed bog. The terrain was so rough that I sheared off some of the cleats that comprise the waffle-pattern of the soles. This is not to despair the construction of this boot. Rather, the conditions were so rough I'm surprised they held up as well as they did when most boots would be regated to the trash heap. I super-glued the sheared parts back on and in less rugged conditions they continue to work well. They are comfortable and definitely waterproof, not just "water resistant" as some boots are termed. When I saw the exact same Merrell boot online, I instantly knew I had to get a new pair. The old ones are useable, but having a new pair that don't look like they went through combat....well, I just had to have a new pair of what I consider the best boot I've ever owned. These are the roughest, toughest boots I've ever used in the most extreme conditions. If you're considering purchasing, they obviously get my highest recommendation. Get your checkbook out. You won't regret it!!
