Perfect boots

I had purchased these boots as they were deemed waterproof because we were going for a trip to Iceland and were planning for some big winter hikes into the mountains. There were on sale and seemed to look like they were a solidly built boot that could handle some rough terrain and still provide the warmth, traction and waterproofing that I would need. These boots did all of that and exceeded my expectations in also providing great comfort. We did many 5-8km hikes into the mountains crossing snow, ice, fallen rocks and streams and I was concerned that I had not broke them in enough prior to leaving with only putting a few kilometres on them but they were perfect. Will definitely be looking into another pair for warm weather hiking as well

Wide width

Purchased this month, the thing is really like is the wide width for reasons unknown to me all shoes seem to think, we should wear narrow shoes. The wide width also good for heavy weight socks which I prefer in the colder weather.

Ive taken these boots on some good hikes in the snow and they have kept my feet warm also I find the tread is very effective, making me feel safer on the snow/ice .
I am a size 11 and I find the fit runs true to size. There was no need for me size up.
