Merrell Men's Thermo Overlook 2 Winter Boot

Super warm winter boots. Ideal for walking the trail in the winter's months

I bought these for delivering mail. I typically walk 6-7 miles/day. Very comfortable and kept my feet dry and warm. I have only used them for one season and am keeping an eye on the seam between the upper suede portion and the bottom rubber part. That seam has been an issue on this type of boot in the past. So far so good!

I needed a good winter boot for one hour hikes that was safe for long ascents over mixed ice and snow. A month of testing has me glad I made this purchase. The boot is cozy warm, I ordered a half size larger than normal so I could wear double socks without discomfort. Snug support on all sides, and the tread is designed to be well above average in slip resistance. Unlike a good summer hiking boot that sort of disappears from notice after a while, I'm always aware that I'm wearing these. If they were used mostly for walking on bare sidewalks or pavement they would feel clunky. But out in the woods if the snow isn't too deep, these are a solid choice. Well made.

These boots were amazing , spent 3- days snowmobiling in Idaho, never once had any moisture, or cold feet during extreme in climate weather. If you enjoy the cold sports, or just traveling during cold weather, trails, casual outings , Merrell boots are the absolute best !!!
