The strap is a sliding adjustable for tightness There is nothingvto lock it in place so it comes loose all the time

This sandal is super comfortable and fits true to size. I wear them a TON and they are holding up perfectly.

Very cushioned summer sandals for walking on irregular paving. Straps can be adjusted easily providing comfort and holding your feet secure.

The back strap loosens as you walk, so I've been having to reach down every couple minutes to pull it tight. The straps across the top if the foot, are thick and overlap so the one on the bottom digs into the foot, and since the top is more sensitive, I got a blister. The soul is nice and thick and is about the only good part about it. If you sew on velcro to that back strap and maybe put felt or something under that strap across the foot so you dont get blisters, it might be decent. Suggest looking for something else for the price. I thought this brand would make better sandals than this.

These were narrow and the straps very tight. I wear Merrell's all the time but was disappointed with these sandals. I returned them.
