Amazing tried them on a super long walk. No sweating of feet or rocks creeping in. Lots of compliments too from the youngers too. Merrell has always been such good quality plus major comfort.

Great for wide feet

I love these and am going to buy in more colors. They are great for wide feet and I'm so happy that they come in a women's 11! Most shoes hurt my feet but not these, and I love the cushy insole. Great for walking! The heel strap is a little long, but it doesn't bother me. I hope they continue making this shoe in fun new colors!

Perfect hiking & walking sandals

This is my second summer wearing these sandals and I love them so much. I decided to finally come and write this review after I wore them walking 10 miles per day around Rome when it was 100+ degrees outside. These are the real deal. I know some folks complain about the straps getting stretched out but this hasn’t caused any issues for me. I just wear them a little looser and they are so comfy. I definitely recommend!

Alpine Strap sandals stick like glue!

I needed a secure sandal with great 'gription' to hike across rocks that are everywhere here on our part of the rugged Canadian Shield. I have good hiking boots but they tend to be too hot in summer plus, we are often on our bikes when we want/need to get off and walk a trail that's too rugged for bikes but feels inviting to explore on foot. These Alpine Strap Merrel sandals are good on the bike and perfect on the trails.
