With our stickiest rubber sole and rock plate, it provides underfoot confidence and safety on all types of hiking terrain. Now incorporates recycled materials across laces, webbing mesh lining, and removable EVA foam for the most sustainable Merrell Bravada to date. I wanted a light, waterproof, walking shoe for a trip to Dublin. I LOVE these shoes! We walked the Dublin streets in the pouring rain and hiked the west coast mountains in bright sunshine - these shoes were perfect. Light, durable, waterproof, and comfortable. Would highly recommend these shoes!

I have been very pleased with these shoes, they are waterproof (the water beads on the exterior and no wet socks inside), they also grip the trail like no other, even on mud and wet leaves, my footing was solid. They were snug fitting, although loosening the shoelaces helped a lot and I could even wear with two layers of socks for walking on snowy trails, although I don't think I even needed the extra pair as my feet were warm even out in the snow (and these are not the "winter" style), and yet I feel they keep my feet a comfortable temperature even in warmer weather.
