Merrell Women's Erie Mid Waterproof Hiker

Wide toe box, flexible sole, and option to insert your custom orthotic make this shoe excellent for foot and ankle health. Recommended by my physiotherapist for these reasons. Since wearing this boot, my foot and ankle problems are improving. Much better than the comparable Keen boot (the Keen has a stiff sole that doesn't allow the ankle/foot to articulate naturally and can lead to problems for some folks). This Merrell Erie boot is a much better option for me and possibly for others who need to be conscious of allowing for natural movement. Highly recommend!

Incredibly comfortable!! True to size for me. I have not yet tried them in slippery conditions but they seem as though they will have great traction, and feel warm. They are also a nice neutral grey/tan color that will match any outfit. The option between the pink or neural colored laces is fun.

Very comfortable an the sizing is true to fit. Love the fact that they are waterproof.

Bought them 2 years ago and they have been excellent. I do light hikes but wear them most of our winters in light snow and definitely when it's rainy here which is alot. My 1st Merrells but won't be the last. Only thing missing is the pull tab on the back heel.

These are my favourite hiking boots ever. So soft and comfortable straight out of the box. I am an avid hiker and I wore my first pair for 5 years before needing to replace them. Love the option for the different colour laces also. Highly recommended.
