The Merrell Women's MQM 3 GORE-TEX Hiking Shoes are built for outdoor adventures. They feature a GORE-TEX membrane for waterproof protection and breathability. The Vibram® outsole ensures reliable traction, while the lace-to-toe system secures the fit. The Merrell Air Cushion in the heel absorbs shock for extra comfort. These active shoes are made with recycled materials and include a protective toe cap and a moulded nylon arch shank for stability.

Great for European sight seeing and hiking!

I wore these shoes to Europe. We spent two weeks in Norway. These shoes were fantastic for hiking and walking on the cobblestones, and they looked cute during city activities. They were waterproof for the rain and I really loved the sole. I've never had a vibram sole before. I loved it! I'm a huge fan. They didn't require any sort of break in time. They're surprisingly clean after all that, too! Highly recommend.

I’m 73 yo and I was an X-ray technologist for my career. We were always on our feet. I need good shoes even in retirement. These are the best shoes. I got a size 7 medium. I did not have to break them in because they were comfortable from the first. I got them because my daughter asked me to go with her and the kids to Florida and I knew there would be a lot of walking. My old shoes were a different brand and were hurting my feet. I’m so glad I got these.

Cobblestone Streets

These were purchased for an upcoming trip to Europe. I wanted a firmer shoe with traction for the cobblestone streets I’m going to encounter. I also wanted waterproof as reviews warned that rain would be intermittent in May. They feel great straight out of the box and lighter weight than I was expecting. My feet felt great after touring Epcot in them. Hoping for the same after days on uneven terrain.

Light weight, keep feet cool and dry, no break in

I bought this shoe several months ago. I am back for another pair so I have them in case they stop making this style. This is the most comfortable hiking shoe. No break in time...have hiked many times in them with total comfort. Light weight keeps my feet cool. I have a pair of solomon's, hiked in them for years, too hot on my feet, would actually make me feel over heated because no hood ventilationfor my feet! Love these. Honestly I stayed away from Merrell for years because they always ran too narrow for me and all day hikes...but these are the best ever!

My favorite hiking shoes!

This is my ninth pair of MQM’s Gor Tex. I hike over 100 miles a month mostly North Carolina but some Tennessee, Virginia, South Carolina. And have used them in Ireland, Kauai, Utah, and Colorado. This shoe is so excellent. It is light with a very grippy soul, it never needs to be broken in. They are comfortable from the first time you wear them. And most importantly, they last me more miles than any other shoe I’ve ever tried. I can get between 600 and 800 miles out of these shoes.the Gor Tex is wonderful, I go through creeks all the time and always have dry feet!
