TOO NARROW IN TOE BOX

Chose these boots as I needed a rocker type sole, good traction . Nice looking boot reasonably priced but too narrow for a wider than narrow foot. Merrell needs to stock stores with the wide version as they are available on the Merrell website.

Poor quality control

People should be aware of getting worn shoes. I was shocked that these shoes had obviously been worn, they had the crease in the toe area, scuffs on the heels and dirty soles. When I took them back, we also found the return receipt in the box. They were bought in Winnipeg.

Supportive Shoes

Very happy with these shoes. They have excellent ankle support. However, after I walk a few km my feet get sore and I have to switch shoes. I'm a letter carrier and walk several km each work day on various terrain.

Good shoe but not for me

Well built shoe. Very comfy on the bottom. I ended up returning them as my foot moved too much inside the shoe (I have skinny ankles) and gave me blisters on my ankles. don't think this was the fault of the shoe tho. I'm usually a 6 and the 6.5 fit me better.

The appearance of the shoes is nice. It is light, and perfect for light hiking, but it is not recommended for a heavy one, especially when walking down a slippery snowy hill.
