Good, but not as good as Siren Sport 2

I've been wearing Siren Sports since 2012 and these continue the line fairly well. The 2 things that could be really better about these are 1: The insoles. What's included does not compare to the OrthoLite Comfort Foam, especially when you could choose different densities so I've had to get insoles elsewhere. 2: The padding at the back of the heel is not as firm as before and is prone to sliding down out of place / deforming. Other than that, these are my daily work shoes.

Excellent shoe for easy to moderate trails and easier trail races. Lightweight but not a lot of impact cushioning for harder trails or jagged rocks.

I have been wearing Merrell Siren Edge shoes and Merrell hiking shoes for YEARs. I always say, I can buy a size 6.5 M, put them on and go. They will fit perfectly. NOT SO with these Siren Sport 3 shoes. They were not true to size - they were small. I bought them for a trip and ended up with purple/bruised toenails; I had to switch to alternate shoes. I'm hoping that Merrell will work with me on this; 30+ year customer who wears Merrell's daily.

Love Merrell footwear except this shoe

I have purchased and worn the Siren Edge 3 three times and decided to try this version. The quality and look of the shoe is exactly what I expected (excellent). However for some reason this style does not fit the same as the Edge and seems to be shorter. I tried wearing them for the past several months with different socks and they do not fit well. I have other Merrell hiking shoes that fit great and the Alpine sneakers are like comfy bed slippers. I am really disappointed these did not work out for me.

Comfortable as all Merrill’s are. True to size. I bought a half size smaller because I purchased Albertson’s and they run wider. Next time I purchase these I will get my usual size.
