The 5th version of our famous minimalist shoe is designed to mimic the shape of the human foot, keeping it in the position it would be in without shoes. Version 6 features and improved fit and increased abrasion-resistance.

Trail runners that are like slippers

Super light weight and comfortable. They feel like slippers. They fit my feet like a glove and the soul is a little thicker than other barefoot runners I've tried, which are better for hiking and running on trails with pebbles, roots, twigs. I wish they made a waterproof/gortex version, as I live in BC and like to walk hike and run through the rainy winter and these don't provide any waterproof protection. For now, these are more summer barefoot trail runners for me. I have relatively narrow feet, but the fabric has some stretch to it, so I think these would be comfortable for wider feet as well.

A great back to basics model

This is my favourite version of the shoe since 2011. It feels durable, unlikely to tear at the heel or ball joint from use, and has less of an arch than previous models. I haven’t tried it long distance yet but it felt great on under 10km road running.

Great running shoes, one snall drawback for me.

I really like these minimalist runners. The only drawback is I have to order a half size larger to accommodate my second toe as the toe box is too short for it and causes discomfort and a dead toenail on long runs.

Ordered a second pair since I liked the first so much. Nice profile and not “chunky”. All of my other shoes seem uncomfortable after wearing these!! When I put them on, my feet say “ahhhhh!”

I love Merrell Barefoot shoes. My feet have extremely high arches and zero drop shoes are the only kind that keep my feet happy on long hikes. Any other shoe has my feet hurting within 30 minutes of walking. Highly recommend them if you have high arches! Give them a try!

I have the same exact pair in a different colour. I bought them a couple of years ago. They are worn out now because I use them so much. Now I have a new pair to enjoy! They are the best summer walking shoes for me.
