Modern Eternity Women's Sara Maternity Jacket

Very warm, sleeves are a great width - love that I can wear a sweater underneath. The maternity panel is great. Worth the price. Love that I can wear it pre-pregnancy, during, while carrying baby, and after!

I had been shopping for a WARM maternity jacket for quite some time, and with COVID restrictions I am spending even more time outdoors this winter! Having reached about 20 weeks into my pregnancy, the oversized sweaters and rain gear wasn't cutting it anymore. I was so thankful to find an option that was down-filled and rated to -30°C (sold somewhere I could use a discount coupon too!). I wasn't a fan of the fact that it originates in China, just because I like to support local if I can (thanks Superstore for adding that detail to the product specs) but the pickings were too slim for me to shop for something else. I am so thankful I got this jacket before the polar vortex set in! It is heavy, the seam quality is excellent, the zippers feel sturdy, and the faux fur is beautiful (I did fluff it up with a brush after the coat arrived in the mail). I am actually warm now! The wind and cold doesn't penetrate this jacket at all! It's long enough to cover my bum too! The only complaints I have is that the shell fabric is such that it will collect pet hair. Having a long-haired white cat, I have to travel everywhere with a lint roller. But that honestly isn't anything new to me! Other than this, I found the sleeves are short. In the body, I am a size Medium (this was also the size the Sport Chek form recommended for me), but I had to size up to a Large to get an appropriate sleeve fit. Because of that, there's some extra room in the body and at 24 weeks pregnant, I haven't needed to add the maternity panel yet. There is a drawstring inside the coat at waist-level, though, so when I am not pregnant, I will still be happy to wear this jacket through our cold Canadian winters.
