Great for Resort or Touring

Great all round jacket Pros: - Gore-Tex. Everything I own is gore. And its the best for warmth/wind/breathability/dry - 172lbs 6’ tall medium is perfect fit with 2 base layers, mid layer puffy under jacket. Perfect for cold Eastern days, and shed layers for western warmer winter touring - Lower zip-hip pockets and upper chest pockets are spaced perfectly apart to accommodate waist strap-belt on avy pack - lift ticket sleeve pocket - durable fabric - sleeve tapers well to wrist and when velcro strapped not to bulky to fit under a long high wristed powder glove or mit - double zip on jacket main zipper is a benefit for opening up the bottom of the jacket to ride lifts due to long length of jacket Cons - bit too long, could be 1” shorter - inside pockets could be wider for skins. They are too narrow to fit any touring skin for a 90mm or wider ski. But they do snuggly fit goggles, wallet. Definitely not gloves - bit zips, not sure if it is the type of zipper used, but pit zips are not easy to get closed. They open ok, zipping closed feels like the zipper is going to rip the surrounding fabric Conclusion: wider inside pockets depending on what they are used for. Shorter jacket length makes the jacket sit over hips and is a bit tight getting on and off lifts. The only reason could not give 5 stars The extra length is great for pow if you wear pants rather than bibs. I also own the Exposure 2 Pro jacket. Which is great for hiking, and milder early and late season ski tours. This jacket is better for December to February colder winter months. Overall, happy with the purchase, integrate well with my Boundary Ridge bibs

Yes, I recommend this product.

Nice coat, returned because larger than expected

Liked the coat, however had to return it as it was way too big. The size ordered was based on an older Mountain Hardwear model.
