Great tent, but cheaper out on the hardware

This is a great tent except for one big issue IMO. I have a Mineral King 3 of my own and I bought this one for my daughter for her birthday. They are solid, lighter than a Eureka, have great poles, easy to set up, but is missing what I think are important parts. It only comes with 6 tent pegs and 2 wind tiedown cords. You basically can peg it to the ground, and peg out the vestibule, but you have no pegs for side loops for the fly ventilation, and you have not a single one to peg it down for wind. Even if you did have the wind pegs, you only have 2 straps to do so. I had a tent with broken poles due to high wind, so I know how important they are. I had hoped it was just with the firdt one I had, but both are the same. I was going to give it 3 stars, but the rest of the tent is amazing. Just plan on working our another $40-$50 for wind cords and pegs if you want gear the same quality as the rest of the tent.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great tent, but cheaper out on hardware

Solid tent, but I think it cheapest the product when they only supply enough pegs to anchor its 4 corners to the ground, and peg out the vestibule. It needs 12 pegs, not 6, and 4 wind lines, not 2, to properly ventilate and tie it down for wind.

No, I do not recommend this product.
