    The best!

Had this tent for 4 years. It's seen evrry kind of terrain. Endured some crazy weather. The negative reviews don't make sense to me. I would buy this tent again and again. Iv used it in the snow, heavy rain, on super hot days, super windy places. Always kept dry in this tent and never needed any repairs. Extremely impressed

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Bought this tent 3 years ago and it is AMAZING. Did a lot of research on tents prior and this one ticked all the boxes and has not let me down. Spacious for a 2 person tent. Can make it breezy for those hotter nights. Have also used in colder weather without a problem. Great quality and always dry. Super easy to set up and take down. Can't imagine a better tent.

Like so many great tents, they continue to have the flaw this one does. The tub floor does not come up high enough, there is mesh too far toward the corners, and the fly, especially at the vestibule does not come down far enough, thus on most of our camping trips when it rains, the water splashes right up under the fly and through the mesh and into the tent. Such a shame the designers wouldn't anticipate this.

Perfect for 2, + their gear.

Pros: This tent is perfect for a backpacking couple that wants just a little extra space to keep their backpacks inside the tent. Set up could not be easier. I can confirm that it is waterproof as I took it on a backpacking trip in the Cape Breton Highlands and it survived the thunder, lightning, and hard rain that came down in sheets for hours. It kept us perfectly dry. Solid construction. Cons: It should come with 2 more tent pegs, but that is definitely not a deal breaker.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Great tent--very roomy. Love the 2 vestibules. Great pocket locations. Easy for single person set up. Purchased 4 more pegs to get the side walls of the fly off the tent. Handled a rain downpour very well, no leaks. Love the feature of rolling the fly back to sleep under the stars.

Great tent from a great manufacturer

Really great tent. Already used it twice and enjoyed it every time. Feel sturdy and reliable. Amazing amount of internal space. Stargazing cover is easy to fold and roll back. Great placement of internal pockets. It comes packed pretty big, though the weight is perfectly okay. I was able to repack it to fit inside the backpack as opposed to strapping it, so no problem there. Setup is 2+2 easy. My wife has never camped in her life and this was her first tent - she was done under 5 min, without using instructions. Highly recommend. You can’t go wrong with Mountain Hardwear.

    Excellent value summer tent

Lighter than our 9lb 3+ season tent but not as light as our ultralight (5lb) tent. This is a value priced (On sale, CT card points, free shipping) moderately light (6lb) 2+ season tent for canoe camping or backpacking. Wide enough for two 25" mattresses (Our ultralight tent only has room for 20" mattresses). Bent pole design makes the interior feel spacious but reduces the ability to withstand high winds like our 3+ season, e.g. on the coast, in the mountains, or in the winter. All mesh interior makes it lighter and comfortable in hot summer conditions, but would make it drafty if windy or dusty. Has two nice big zippered doors and vestibules (for his and hers convenience). Includes a fitted groundsheet, which is an optional extra for most tents. My only minor complaints are: stuffsack is a bit oversized; loops are included for a gear loft, but Mountain Hardwear has discontinued theirs and aftermarket ones seem hard to come by; the guy lines that just hold the fly away from the ends of the tent are way too long and no stakes are included for them (should be a total of 8, not the 6 provided - the manufacturers have saved pennies on this), the plastic hub that joins the poles at the apex of the roof seems like a weak point that will break eventually and it only connects the two long main poles and not the short pole that holds up the fly over the vestibules, which just seems like an afterthought (it's also not obvious if it should go over or under the hub). Overall, this seems like a good quality no-frills tent that we expect to enjoy for many years to come.

I love the size and durability of this tent and it would be a keeper if only they designed it with the fly being only slightly larger and going all the way down to the ground. The fly is too high, no matter how you pitch it, and the rain always splashes and/r blows under the vestibule and through the mesh tent wall. That is not good. They should know that that would happen. What a shame.
