Great size! Holds up to rain well!

Ordered the 3 person tent and it is very comfortable for the 2 of us and our very plush MEC reactor 10 2 person mattress. The second night we used this tent, we experienced an extreme rainfall, like one of those once in a decade events where roofs cave in from water load, and no water got into the tent! We even initially set it up on the lowest spot in the campsite and the puddle underneath did not make it in. It was not windy that night so I can’t comment on how it handles true storm conditions, but for just rain, it’s awesome. I love how much airflow you get from having the full mesh interior, really nice to peel back the fly in the morning and get a hit of fresh air. I really like the interior gear loops/pockets for hanging lights and little things. Light colour of the fly keeps it from getting way too hot in the morning. Easy and fast to set up. Maybe a little heavy for any great length of backpacking (in my opinion, but I am a baby haha!), but small pack size/weight for car camping standards. Have had it for a month so far and it’s great!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Just received the Mineral King 3person tent. Great colors, I love the amount of head space including two access doors. Easy set up.

I bought this tent primarily for the size of the base and the height... and wow was it comfortable. We hiked a moderate backcountry trek and the tent weight was totally doable. Two adults were ~220lbs + 5'9" and ~180lb + 6', plus a 90lb St. Bernard mix and a 60lb beauceron.... and we all fit. It was amazong. The mesh ceiling made star gazing and falling asleep stunning. This tent was such a win and I'm so happy I purchased this. Plus, it came with a footprint! The amount of side pocket is also incredibly nice. A very thoughtful design and I'm happy I spent the money.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

We recently had to upgrade from a 2-man to 3-man tent and chose the mineral king. This tent is light enough and packable enough to be used for backcountry hiking. (It fit in my Gregory jade 60 pack with sleeping bags mats and clothing), while being roomy enough for traditional camping. I love that the mosquito netting goes relatively low as there was no condensation in the mornings. It fits three mats side by side and is pretty darn tall compared to the 2-man tents I have owned. Vestibules are generous. I am quite pleased with this purchase!

Bought it over Christmas 2020. Used it for the first time over May long weekend. The abundance of mesh really helps airflow. Light enough for backpacking. I'm 6'3" and the extra length of the base is fantastic! That's one of the reasons I purchased it! Material feels a little thin so I have yet to see how it does with wear and tear, but so far quite satisfied!

Great two person +gear car camping tent

I bought this earlier this summer and have accumulated about 30 nights in it so far. This tent is awesome. Plenty of room for two people and gear and doesn't take up too much space in your car. The setup and take down are incredibly easy and efficient. The fly holds up to heavy rain really well. Been poured on a few times and everything inside has stayed perfectly dry. If you're looking for a new car-camping tent, this is the one!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Only took this tent out once so far but it was perfect! Rained a lot one night and stayed dry in the tent. Awesome with the rain fly off to see the stars. Used it as a 2 person tent, lots of space for 2 people, would be pretty tight for 3 people.
